Marking the National Feast of the Annunciation, affiliated groups of the “Islamic-Christian Gathering Around Our Lady Mary” held a spiritual gathering at the Liqa’ Center in Rabweh after the cancellation of the central celebration, which had been scheduled at UNESCO Palace, due to the difficult circumstances facing Lebanon.

Determined to preserve the significance of the occasion, the participating associations organized a moment of prayer and reflection inspired by the Virgin Mary, emphasizing the values of love, dialogue, and coexistence among all.

The gathering featured prayers, hymns, supplications, personal testimonies, and spiritual reflections, all centered on the hope for an awakening of conscience and the restoration of peace and stability in Lebanon and the wider region.

Participants also expressed their appreciation to all those who had contributed to organizing the cancelled central celebration.

In their closing message, the organizers reaffirmed their hope that the Feast of the Annunciation will continue to serve as a symbol of unity and hope, strengthening the bonds between Muslims and Christians across the country.
